Lady Musgrave HQ, Queenslands new three-level pontoon nestled in the sheltered waters of Lady Musgrave Island Lagoon in the Capricorn Bunker Islands, is set to revolutionise guest experiences on the Great Barrier Reef and is a must-do when visiting Bundaberg with friends or family.
The luxury pontoon provides a new way to experience the Great Barrier Reef and Lady Musgrave Island. The 35 metre-long, 12 metre-wide boat provides independent snorkel and dive platforms making it an easy way to experience the Great Barrier Reef, as well as seamless access to high-speed dive boats for the ultimate scuba diving experience, the glass bottom boat allowing you to stay dry while seeing the local tropical fish and marine life, and the luxury catamaran Reef Empress.

I highly recommended Lady Musgrave for snorkelling,getting there is the worst part, be prepared because the vessel is going to move a lot.We took vessel from Brunnet Heads (Bundaberg) it's 2 hours and half getting to Lady Musgrave so take pills if you suffer from sea sickness like me, but once you arrived ,it's worth it!Very beautiful healthy reef ,lots of colourful fish and we saw 2 turtles, weather was a little bit overcast in there.Also bring or hire a wetsuit, we went there in November 25 and water was a little bit cold and we didn't want to stopped snorkelling but we were getting very cold after 1 hour and half of snorkelling your body will ask for a hot shower, you will see constantly different species of fish so youd better bring underwater camera and take heaps of pictures, we didn't 😒.
We would like to go back hopping for a very sunny day and a not so moving vessel!.and that would be beyond perfect Lady Musgrave experience 😀

My mum and I had the best time doing the day tour for her birthday. Absolutely stunning place and experiences, amazingly helpful and friendly crew. There were a few small logistical issues but handled extremely well by the crew. Really grateful for such a unique opportunity to explore the great barrier reef 🙏💗

We stayed 2 nights on the pontoon and it was amazing! The reef is the best we have seen so far in Great Barrier Reef. The food and service are incredible. We saw tons of turtles, sharks, fishes and even an octopus. Highly recommend staying overnight.

Had a great time!! The ferry ride with captain Cameron was lovely. Great seats and delicious bites. Raff and Dan were also great as well as the rest of the crew.The pontoon was amazing. Did a sleepover and had so much fun. Chef Rooey went out of his way to prepare delish food with attention to everyone's needs. Dillon and Cora were also superb. Can't say a bad word about this well planned experience with the best staff!!

How To Get Here
Travel to Bundaberg
A 45 minute flight or 4 hour drive from Brisbane.
Length of stay
Lady Musgrave Experience departs from Bundaberg Port Marina at 7am and arrives back at the marina at 5pm daily.
We recommend staying in Bundaberg accommodation the night before for early departure the next morning.
