Absolutely brilliant! The best day!

My fiance’ and I did the Lady Musgrave experience today and it was the best. The staff were absolutely amazing and were so accommodating. The reef itself was just spectacular and full of beautiful fish, coral and turtles. I have been snorkelling before, but this experience exceeded my expectations in every possible way. There is everything you need on board, including 4 toilets, a basic shower and 3 levels of seating. If you ever get the chance to do this, do it because you will not regret it!!

Lady Musgrave Experience

The crew were awesome, knowledgeable & very helpful as well a super friendly. The boat was impressive, clean & the 3 levels made for everyone to spread out throughout the trip there & back. The time spent at the southern Barrier reef was super, the glass bottom boat was a great way to see the reef if you did not venture into the water either by diving or snorkeling. Well worth if you can’t get up to Cairns.

Fantastic Experience, Outstanding Crew

We did this trip as part of 3 day excursion from the Gold Coast with Sunset Safaris so weren’t to sure what to expect from the boat trip. We couldn’t have been more impressed with both the boat, the experience and the outstanding crew. The Lady Musgrove is a beautiful boat and very comfortable. Please take sea sickness medication well in advance and during your trip, and sit outside! The majority of people on our trip were seasick and although the staff were brilliant at looking after them, prevention is so much better than cure We enjoyed every minute, from the journey, the snorkling, the reef, turtles, fish, octopus and even a shark! Thanks to Tim for taking a few of us less confident snorklers out to make the most of the beautiful reef, we wouldn’t have had the same experience without you. And on top of all that the food was good too If you ever get the opportunity just go, it was a truly memorable experience, a huge thank you to The Lady Musgrove Experience and all who sail her

Great experience, but a lot of seasickness

The trip to Lady Musgrave was outstanding. Beautiful island. Nice turtles. Pretty fish. And they accommodated the last minute / onboard request of my daughter and I to do the introductory scuba experience of the coral reef. We called the day before for advice about seasickness, and they said the seas were average and they didn’t think it would be much of a problem. The seas may have been average, but probably close to 50{a6d6b0a017a79dbecbb35308e293e6faa2c8b859349c3db5fb44c7a4205969f4} of the people on the boat got seasick. That included two of my family members, who had a really tough time on the 2 hour boat ride there, and the 2 hr boat ride back. They were still happy they went, because it was their only chance to see a coral atoll, but expect that there is a very good chance you will get seasick.

An amazing experience

Had a fantastic time doing the Lady Musgrave experience, all of the staff on board the ship were friendly, informative and really helpful, especially when a few of us got quite sea-sick! The Reef is stunning and it was unforgettable, the island itself looks like paradise and our guide (Jen I think?) was lovely and chatty. All of us from the Sunset Safaris Tour group thoroughly enjoyed our day and came away with nothing but good memories. Harry our Tour Guide from Sunset Safaris also deserves a mention for his work, very informative, funny and the best chef! Started this trip as a solo traveller and came away with new friends through this awesome tour, couldn’t fault it.
