Dive alongside the vertical shallow lagoon wall of Lady Musgrave Lagoon. Walls are home to many creatures great and small so take your time to discover all the nooks and crannies in this unique terrain and coral formation full of fish. To witness the abundance of wildlife, you’ll want to stay close to the wall where there will be less current so getting your buoyancy under control is key.
If you’ve wanted to tick ‘swim with turtles’ off your bucket list, here’s your chance. Turtle Alley has a sandy bottom with large scattered bommies used as cleaning stations for resident green turtles, hawksbill turtles and green turtles. This makes for the perfect photo opportunity to make your friends back home jealous!
Along with our friendly resident turtles, you’ll also be able to come across amazing colonies of bushy finger corals filled with lots of small, colourful fish, including blue and green chromis, damsel fish and butterfly fish. There’s also plenty of juvenile fish such as moorish idols, parrotfish and butterfly fish. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a white tip reef shark resting on the sandy bottom!
